D&A have assisted Yuanda by - Producing all RAMS - Providing plant including access equipment, lifting equipment, and all solutions for the use of the same - Achieving all programme targets set. By using the wealth of experience within the D&A Management Structure Yuanda have been able to allow D&A to control this area with the minimum of fuss, and the maximum output possible. D&A also highlighted the flexibility a client benefits from utilising their services by organising night shift work to allow for other trades to work in areas during the day, which due to H&S grounds precluded both trades working in the same area at once.

Louis Vuitton 'Foundation for Creation', Paris

CLIENT: Eiffage Construction Metalique
PROJECT VALUE: c£1.2m
DESCRIPTION:
Our first international project and what a way to start! Having worked successfully many times for Eiffel UK, D&A Architectural were chosen to install 3 of the most challenging ‘sail’ canopies on what will be an architectural icon. Completely bespoke glazing design comprising glass curved in 2 planes, no two units were alike – even the vacuum lifter was designed just for this project. The sub-structure for the glazing was created from curved CHS stainless steel sections, and the structurally glazed curved laminated glass attached via and ingenious mounting system allowing the glass to be set not only left and right, but also in pitch. This was vital to ensure a smooth curved finish was achieved. Technically challenging, physically challenging with difficult access issues to overcome, D&A produced the method statements and RAMS that ensured this project will be delivered on time. A masterpiece of modern design and architectural brilliance, this is certainly one project all involved can be rightly proud of. Peak labour force on this project is 25 operatives.
