DESCRIPTION:
A residential tower glazed with a fully unitised system, D&A have been able once again been able to achieve an impressive output with the minimum number of operatives. Installation of the unitised system has in the main been carried out by mini-crane, operated and banked by D&A, which has allowed control of the speed of installation. Another boon to production on site was allowing D&A to control the challenging logistics involved on such a tight site, with D&A providing the logistics team including hoist drivers. Peak labour force on this project is 30 operatives.

DESCRIPTION:
A 25 storey residential tower constructed in London’s Euston region, this project was secured with a very tight programme of works. Each floor was split into 4 apartments, and all elements had to be complete in 5 days per floor. This work showed the versatility of D&A architectural due to the numerous disciplines required: • Balustrade Glazing • Curtain Walling • Lift and Slide Doors • Balcony Aluminium rainscreen cladding • Timber Decking • Aluminium Soffit cladding The West and North walls of the project were glazed with punch hole windows, and the concrete sheer walls were clad with an innovative aluminium ‘basket weave’ cladding design. Peak Labour force on this project is 45 operatives.
